Kerrie Adams is a co-opted Governor, appointed initially as a Parent Governor in July 2009; she assumed the role of Chair in September 2010. Kerrie, a retired RAF wing commander, is currently working on projects for the Gloucester Law Centre as a para legal within the family law. She is experienced in the law, within personnel management, welfare, discipline, equal opportunities and policy development. She is married to Mark who is a Royal Naval Commodore in command of HM Submarine Naval Base Clyde (Faslane), Scotland. They have 2 boys, both of whom have benefited from a CVJS education. The boys attend Pate's Grammar School in Cheltenham, Henry is currently in Year 10 and George is in Year 13. Jo is a co-opted Governor having previously been a Parent Governor.
Jo has been a teacher across the primary age range for fifteen years. She is currently teaching at Charlton Kings Infants' School where she is a member of the senior management team and Special Educational Needs & Disability Coordinator. Her specialist areas are community cohesion, PSHE, modern foreign language teaching and provision for pupils with special educational needs. Jo is currently vice-chair of the Governing Body, chairs the Curriculum Committee, and is the lead for equality and diversity, PE and French. Jo is married to Adrian a former RAF PTI. They have 2 sons, the eldest is in Year 11 at Chosen Hill and their youngest is in Year 6 at CVJS.
Ray Fish is a Parent Governor, appointed in November 2013. Ray, a retired Civil Servant, has experience in Corporate Governance, Performance Management, Risk Management and Internal Audit and is currently working for Atkins Management Consultants in Cheltenham. Ray is married to Sharon, a Chartered Accountant, currently working in the NHS. They have three boys Alex 17, Harry 11 (Yr 7) and James 8 (Yr 4 CVIS).
